Glugging the night away

It was very nice of Glug to invite me to do some live drawing at their ‘Beautiful Summer’ event at Cargo last night. I thought it’d be fun to try creating a movie poster on the night, and what kind of movie poster could be more fun to draw than a kung fu classic, Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow? Here’s a few photos of me ‘in action’, as it were, taken by my lovely wife. Tools used were canvas, pencil, and a big ‘ol bag of Uni Poscas.

Thanks to everyone who said hello and came to chat – was nice to get a break every now and again to prevent me from succumbing to canvas blindness! I’d be lying if I said I finished it, but I got pretty close. If anyone’s interested in purchasing it when it’s done, feel free to drop me an email and, er, make me an offer!

Finally, I’ve got a few A2 prints left of the palm tree poster I created for the event. I’ll post this separately when I get chance, but feel free to enquire if interested. They’ll just be a fiver plus postage, and hey, I’ll even sign it for you if you’d like. Although be warned that it may deprecate the value further.
